Nothing. LabelTruth does not require sign-up and does not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal information to us.
The barcode scanner uses your device camera only while the scanner is open, only to read barcode digits, and only with your permission. Images are processed on your device and are never uploaded, stored, or shared. Closing the scanner stops the camera.
Products you add to your personal database are stored locally on your own device/browser. They are not sent to us.
When you use World search or scan a barcode, the app sends the search text or barcode number (nothing else) to Open Food Facts, a non-profit open database, to retrieve product information. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These requests include your IP address as part of how the internet works, governed by those services' own privacy policies.
LabelTruth is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
